This new blog is all about passion, purpose & possibilities! I can’t think of a better way to start than to share the explosion of these 3 elements at the BOSS 2010 event this weekend. Rather than retell, what others have so eloquently shared, I have included a few links. if you want to read the heart felt responses of the attendees, get on #BOSS2010 on Twitter, and even more importantly get on the list of our hostess: Carrie Wilkerson, The Barefoot Executive .
I have followed Carrie since 2007, when she first began her online business. Her savvy business mind coupled with her integrity and heart always intrigued me. I have gotten her newletters, tidbits of widsom through the years, but not until my health was restored this April/May did I entertain working with her. Why? Carrie is an action taker, her rise to success in just 3 short years is an incredible story. Carie always overdelivers, and knew it was only a matter of time before I hired her as my coach.Being the type A personality that I am, I knew that once I began working with Carrie, I would thrive under her mentoring and coaching, because she expects great things from her people and she is a master of action & accountability.
In August 2010 I began coaching with Carrie, in order to bring my coaching business online. In 2 1/2 short months, I have learned more than I can fit in a blog post and been introduced and connected with some amazing, generous and incredibly gifted people. This is a group of people whose heart and minds are geared in the same way as mine. They are ambitious, yet driven by passion & mission, they work with purpose and engage in business with integrity.
I was so commited to being at this event that I left my vacation to attend, and now upon returning, I am hard pressed to really be on vacation. I find myself drawn to the twitter stream of new friends, my mind filled with ideas and my heart overflowing with gratitude to be associated with this remarkable group of entreprenuers. There is a spirit of giving, of possibility, and collaboration not competition, so rare in the business world today.
This is just the beginning of what I will share with you regarding all I have learned. I took over 20 pages of notes, and have journaled some of my thoughts as I have begun to process through all that the speakers & teachers offered. Add to that, the rich conversations and new connections made with the high caliber of attendees… and this is an “don’t miss” event! (mark your calendar: Oct 7-8, 2011)
Suffice it to say, that on 10-10-10, as I sat on a mountain in Sedona, profoundly aware of the unique energy of this area, I was overwhelmed with the possibilities of all that God has in store in this next year. As I increase my coaching practice and work with people who want more personal success in business & life… in order to increase their profitablity, productivity, & purpose, I am excited and humbled at the privilige of being part of the journey of personal growth and success for others.
Where will you be on 10-10-11? Will you be intentional about where you want to be, what your goals are and how you will get there? I know that I have increased clarity, focus and a greater sense of possibilitiy since being at BOSS 2010. Why… you might ask… well, for many reasons, which I will share in upcoming posts.
It is back to vacation for me! (hubbie is waiting for me to finish work, so we can go out… i have been without internet service for a week and going a bit crazy!)
